Focsle Bar

This is a traditional logger and fisherman bar located right on Front Street in downtown Ketchikan. Noted for its clever Indian Head logo and merchandise, this place is a bit rough for the average tourist. Not recommended for those not ready to confront drunk loggers or fishermen.

First City Saloon

Located at 830 Water Street within walking distance of downtown in Ketchikan. They have a wide variety of Beers from around the world and seating for 200+ people, a large dance floor and full stage. They have a lot of amenities for your comfort, including a laundry room and a shower room in the back of the bar.

Cape Fox Lodge

One of the finest hotels in Alaska. Situated on a hill overlooking the city, the hotel's interior style is reminiscent of a ski lodge, with a river rock fireplace, pine-beamed ceilings and overstuffed furniture. A popular way to reach the Lodge is via a scenic tram ride that links the lodge with the downtown area some 130 feet below.

Red Dog Saloon

Behind the swinging doors, the nostalgic flavor of the legendary Red Dog Saloon continues to prevail; from the sawdust floors to the flag-draped ceiling. Cherished memorabilia of Alaskans displayed include Wyatt Earp's gun, a walrus oosik, trophy wildlife mounts, historical posters and photographs, and currency signed by miners. The Saloon continues to be dedicated to preserving the memory of the men and women of our early prospecting and mining days. The Alaska Legislature has even recognized the Red Dog Saloon for its longevity as the oldest man-made tourist attraction in Juneau.
