Boston is a great town full of friendly people,
fun things to do and even the Boston Red Sox. Check out the reviews
below and go in peace.
109 Brookline (Fenway)
This newer restaurant/bar
is located just a block down from Fenway Park
on Brookline Street. It is the perfect place to
eat, drink and watch the ballgame. If you are
in the Fenway area and need a friendly crapper,
this is your place. While there is only one john
in addition to the urinals, the general cleanliness
and privacy are good enough. Best of all, the
facilities are new which means handicrapping access
too.
The Paradise Theater is a
world famous rock club hosting top bands from
all over the world. It is not, however, a place
you want to rely on for an emergency crap. There
are two sets of restrooms. The first one, up front
near the lounge, is so tight and cramped that
it offers no privacy at all. While the one stall
seems adequate, don't count on it in a pinch.
The second restroom is inside the concert venue
itself. As you enter, it is upstairs on the left.
If you can get to this one BEFORE the show you
stand a good chance at reasonable cleanliness
and privacy. Again, one stall is all you get so
make the most of it. A benefit of using the one
upstairs is that there is an uncrowded bar right
outside. One last tip: Since the place usually
opens its doors late, you may have to wait outside
for a good half hour before you can get inside.
So don't count on this place being your saviour.
This upscale Asian cuisine
restaurant/bar is a great place to get some sushi
or take a crap. The large, handicrapping enabled
restroom is spacious and clean and totally private.
Yes, it is one to a customer here. The only downside
is if you need to go and it is occupied. Well
you can't have everything.
This is a nice little pub
with a friendly staff and a huge screen tv for
watching the game. No food but cold beer is on
tap. the restroom is sort of wedged in the back.
One stall is there if you need it. Safe and secure.
12th floor of 1 Post Office
Square. Great restroom. It's like your own bathroom,
except it's cleaned about 12 times a day and has
one use fabric towels. Several choices of headache
meds as well as breath freshener. I worked there
for years and still think back to those days of
locking myself in there for hours at a time pinching
a mean Boston loaf.
