Denmark is a very cool country just north of Germany.
The capital city is Copenhagen or København. It is one of
my favorite places in the world. Lots of pedestrian streets and
amazing architecture. A true fairy tale land.
Hotel Kong Arthur
A great place to stay in
Copenhagen. Easy walking distance to everything
as the city is quite small and manageable on foot.

Rosenborg Castle is not
only a beautiful historic building, it is also
a museum of cultural history which houses some
of Denmarks greatest cultural treasures,
not least the Crown Jewels and the Danish Crown
Regalia. Web

Features an octagonal courtyard
with an equestrian statue of the King at the centre,
surrounded by four identical Rococo mansions.
The courtyard is cut by two perpendicular streets,
of which the grandest leads from the harbour,
then the main artery of Copenhagen, to the Marble
Church. Web

The Museum houses collections
of Danish and foreign museum artifacts, including
a very cool and extensive exhibit on South Pacific
cultures. Never crowded (it seems) so a great
place to spend the afternoon. Web

Frederiks Church, with
its great dome rising high above the rooftops
of Copenhagen, is one of the characteristic landmarks
of the citys skyline. Frederiks Kirke here
serves as the termination of an east/west axis
from the harbour and across Amalienborg Square.

In Christianshavn is the
absolutely magnificent Church of our Saviour.
Look up at the church tower and you'll see an
exterior golden staircase winding up to the top
where a golden globe is crowned by a statue of
the victorious Christ. Web

Like a small fairy-tail
village you'll find it right in the heart of Copenhagen.
Everything from roller coasters to theatres, gourmet
restaurants, cafés, bars, magnificent flowers
and outdoor stages where local and international
stars perform throughout the season. Web

Copenhagen JazzHouse is Denmark's
most significant jazz venue. JazzHouse presents
world-famous international names as well as the
best names and young talents from the Danish jazz
scene. Web

This is the famous Hamlet's
Castle in Helsingør or Elsinore in English.
Located up the coast via a train ride from Copehagen,
this is a cool daytrip. Web
