What does the Mystery Crapper do on vacation? Boating?
Fishing? No, sillycrapping! You will never look at your favorite
fishing spot the same way.
The Tiki Bar (Islamorada)
Holiday Isle is home to the
World-Famous Tiki Bar, where the infamous Rumrunner
was originally created in 1972 by bartender "Tiki"
John. The first establishment on the spot was
built from driftwood in 1968 and was known as
the Happy Hula Hut, with the first ten-foot section
of the Tiki Bar being added in 1970.
We had to
give this one at least a .5 just because it exists
but we wouldn't recommend this crapper except
for the most dire of emergencies. Only one stall
for the entire facility which is strategically
positioned right in front of the open door. Huge
gap coefficient allows for making friends as they
line up outisde the stall. Let's not even discuss
how many drunk people have pissed on the toilet
seat. Poor facility for so many drunken souls.

The original 100 seat Islamorada
Fish Company is located in the heart of the Florida
Keys, and has been in operation since 1948.This
restroom rates a good solid 3 for its general
user friendliness and privacy. Huge stall for
handicrapping with its own sink adds to the facility
rating. When you go to this restaurant, make sure
to try the Kiwi Margarita and the Conch Fritters.
Then make a beeline to the crapper. Great location
right on the water. Expect to have a one hour
wait to be seated at the restaurant and no wait
to be seated at the crapper.
Part of the Islamorada Fish
Company complex, the Zane Grey Lounge harkens
back to the days of Ernest Hemingway. This restroom
gives visitors a friendly, private crapping environment
in a nicely appointed facility. The decor carries
out the Hemingway theme of the fishing-oriented
style. The decorators definitely gave this crapper
its fair due in the budget. Sip a Pina Colada,
smoke a cigar, listen to a great house band and
take a crap in this upscale spot.
Part of the Islamorada fish
Company complex. Formerly known as World Wide
Sportsman, this monstrous fishing-oriented store
in Islamorada has an equally monstrous crapper
for excellent handicrapping action. Nicely appointed
and tastefully decorated, this is a must visit
on your trip to the Keys.
